Life as we know it stretching far and wide;
across the blue expanse, bridging the great divide;
over countless years and countless tides;
here we are, with many do we reside.
Travelling the world in strength and grace;
seeing the depths in meandering pace;
all the sights and all the sounds;
the world washing over once unbound.
Solid are we in rock and stone;
forming mountains and valleys and rivers of bone;
wherever we fall wherever we stand;
we move as one, united with land.
History of many becoming history of one;
engrained with purpose, to shift, to become;
lives have fallen and mountains reduced to crumb;
holding a place for all to be undone.
